Patricia Hesterly, Ph.D., QME

Dr. Hesterly has a diversified clinical background with years in clinical practice focusing on individual and couples psychotherapy, work with inpatient psychiatric patients and adolescents and work in community clinics offering mental health treatment to families. In 2003, her focus shifted to forensic psychology. In that endeavor, she has conducted countless medical-legal evaluations in which the goal is a very detailed accounting of the clinical history associated with the injured worker and an evidence based analysis of the medical-legal issues in play. In many cases, these issues are affected by non-industrial issues that must be impartially considered and incorporated into the findings and opinions offered. Throughout her career, Dr. Hesterly has maintained an emphasis upon the individuality of a client; strengths and weaknesses, talents, accomplishments and capacity for growth and recovery.
